Acres Receives $3.3 Million Software Order From MGM Mirage

LAS VEGAS--(Press Release)--August 15, 2001--Acres Gaming Incorporated (Nasdaq:AGAM), the leader in Bonusing technology for the gaming industry, today announced that it has signed a $3.3 million agreement to provide a patron management system for eleven MGM Mirage casinos. Based on Acres' current Prophet Patron Tracking application, the system is a core component of MGM Mirage 's Customer Relationship Management initiative.

Installation is expected to be complete within the next year. In addition to the base contract amount, Acres can earn a $500,000 performance bonus for meeting certain milestones. The agreement also provides for software maintenance and support services for at least two years following installation.

Bud Glisson, CEO of Acres Gaming, stated, ``We're very pleased to be working with MGM Mirage on another major project. We recently completed slot floor network installations in conjunction with International Game Technology at four MGM Mirage casinos -- The Mirage, Treasure Island, MGM Grand Detroit and an upgrade at The Bellagio. This new patron management system is planned for installation at those four properties plus MGM Grand, New York-New York, Golden Nugget Las Vegas, Primm Valley, Buffalo Bill's, Whiskey Pete's and Beau Rivage.''
