Acres Gaming Reports Order for Sixth MGM Mirage Property23 March 2001LAS VEGAS--(Press Release)--March 23, 2001--Acres Gaming Inc. (Nasdaq:AGAM ) today announced that it has received a deposit of $1.1 million for an order of Acres Advantage products on which it expects revenues of $2.3 million. The order is for New York-New York Hotel and Casino, The Greatest City in Las Vegas, and follows previous orders for Acres Advantage products for five other MGM MIRAGE properties: The Mirage, Treasure Island, Bellagio, MGM Grand in Detroit and, recently, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. These orders are part of the International Game Technology contract with MGM MIRAGE to install a combined IGT and Acres slot accounting, player tracking and bonusing system in up to 11 MGM MIRAGE properties. ``Although the master contract is for up to 11 properties, we receive actual orders into our backlog one at a time as MGM MIRAGE management makes the formal decision to order products for the next property,'' explained Vince Manfredi, Acres' vice president of Sales and Marketing. ``We are pleased that MGM MIRAGE has expressed continued confidence in our products and we look forward to earning the orders for the remaining five properties.''
