A study of a casino marketer's life is now underway

(PRESS RELEASE) -- A comprehensive study of a casino marketer's life is now underway. Created in 2019 as the first-ever study of casino marketing in the U.S., the study examines staff responsibilities, skill development, and workload.

"The impact of COVID-19 has certainly changed the efforts of casino marketers whether Native American, commercial, destination or regional," said Julia Carcamo, cofounder of the group. "We are lucky to have measured a baseline in 2019. Certainly, we will see effects from the general manager level down through the coordinators."

The study has been emailed to every casino in the U.S. Additionally, some Canadian operations requested an opportunity to participate via the Casino Marketing Monitor website.

"Understanding there are some marketers still on furlough or awaiting a full return to work, we have invited participants to opt for the survey to be sent to their personal email addresses," said CMM Cofounder Mary Loftness.
