A 12 Casino Weekend6 March 2002ATLANTIC CITY – As reported by the Chicago Tribune: Here was my list of must-haves for a couple of days away with my sister: a No Fly Zone, action, food, ocean, celebs. So our plan to drive south and gamble the weekend away seemed like a good bet. We threw our bags in the trunk, shoved a CD in the player and a short, fast three hours later found ourselves in Atlantic City, ready to roll. On the way, we came up with a strategy: We would do all 12 of the city's casino-hotels in 48 hours. Not a leisurely task. But we figured that in the glittering, try-your- luck, up-all-night world that calls itself "America's Favorite Playground," our only handicap would be how badly we needed sleep.
