888 named top casino for second straight year

GIBRALTAR -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- 888 were named Top Casino of the Year for the second consecutive year at the 2008 Gambling Online Magazine awards earlier this week.

The award, which is voted by Gambling Online magazine's readers, is given to the online casino that delivers the best overall offering and the highest service levels in the industry.

It is the seventh award that 888 have won within the last five months. In September 2008 the company took three awards at the eGaming Awards where they took the prestigious Operator of the Year, the coveted Bingo Operator of the Year and the innovative Land Links Partnership of the Year awards.

888 also won the Operator of the Year and Best Betting & Gaming categories at the Leisure Report Awards in October 2008 as well as receiving the influential Most Effective Membership title at the 2008 APA Effectiveness Awards for its customer magazine Eight in November 2008.
