5th Annual JCM/AGA Golf Classic Raises $75,000 Problem Gambling10 June 2003LAS VEGAS – (Press Release) -- Leading currency-handling manufacturer JCM American Corporation (JCM) announced today its recent JCM/AGA Golf Classic raised $75,000 for the National Center for Responsible Gaming (NCRG). The event was the most successful to date in its five-year history. The Golf Classic is a collaboration between JCM and the American Gaming Association (AGA) and is designed to raise both money and awareness of NCRG. There was such a demand at last year's tournament that this year's event was held over two consecutive weeks, first in Las Vegas and then in Atlantic City, drawing a total of 225 players. Participants were a who's who of the gaming industry and included top names from operators and manufacturers from across North America, including Frank J. Fahrenkoph, Jr., President of the AGA, and Aki Isoi, President of JCM. "The importance of the NCRG's work cannot be overstated," said JCM Vice President Tom Nugent. "The research they conduct is cutting edge and has led to enormously valuable insights into not just gambling addictions, but into addictive behavior in general.
