4 Indiana Casinos Fined for Underage Patrons18 March 2002INDIANA -- March 17, 2002 -- As reported by the Associated Press: ``The Indiana Gaming Commission has fined four Ohio River casinos for failing to stop patrons under age 21 from entering the boats. ``Caesars Indiana in Harrison County, Belterra Casino near Vevay, Casino Aztar in Evansville and Trump Casino in Gary were fined a total of $10,600 for failing to enforce Indiana laws that prohibit underage patrons from gambling at casinos. ``The actions marked the third time in the past year that the commission has imposed fines for such violations against four boats at a single meeting. ``...Under Gaming Commission regulations, casino staff members and security crews must check the identification of anyone who looks younger than 21..." |
