23-Year Old Wins CPC Free Roll Event

25 November 2005

NEW YORK – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Jonathan Donde, a 23-year old call center manager, has been playing poker for about two years but had never entered a free roll tournament like the $10,000 Caribbean Poker Classic free roll event before.

"I thought there would be at least 1,000 people. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw there were only 121," he admitted.

According to David Williams, senior editor at, the majority of free rolls sponsored by actually present opportunities similar to this one. "Our free rolls always boast top value, meaning that few people actually show up for game day. Sometimes there are as few as 12 or 13 individuals competing for a prize worth at least $10,000," revealed Williams.

Jonathan Donde secured his victory in the CPC satellite when a Queen hit on the turn. He is grateful to and InterPoker for the chance to play in one of the biggest poker tournaments on the international poker circuit.

"I think is a great site to use when trying to find an online poker room. It has all the information you could ask for when it comes to online poker," said Donde.

"I have played on several sites before and I must say InterPoker is the best. It's a great site if your looking for a ring game, and has players from all over the world which is something I personally enjoy," he added.

The CPC will take place in St Kitts from November 26th to December 3rd. Jonathan Donde will try his best but is keeping his expectations in check.

"My hopes are to meet and play with the elite of the poker world, and hopefully learn a few things from them in the process."
