2 Arrested in Bank Robbery1 October 2003TUNICA, Mississippi – As reported by the Associated Press: ``Two people have been arrested, another was being questioned and a fourth was being sought after a Tuesday morning robbery at a Tunica County bank, police said. ``Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Warren Strain said Tuesday evening the suspects could face federal bank robbery charges. ``Officers said First Security Bank on U.S. 61 was robbed shortly before 9 a.m. by two people wearing ski masks and armed with handguns. The two forced bank employees at gunpoint to open a cash drawer and took an undisclosed amount of money. ``…In another case, county officials said a 31-year-old Memphis man, who worked as a casino security guard, Ankor Maurice McDonald, was arrested by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation in connection with the Sept. 22 robbery of the Horseshoe Casino…" |
