15 Persons Nabbed for Illegal Gambling

THE PHILIPPINES -- As reported by the (Philippines Sun Star ): ``Operatives of the Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit-Vice and Narcotics Control Section apprehenended 15 persons in three separate anti-illegal gambling operations Monday.

``Arrested at Libertad Public Market was Alberto Serimogan, 43, of Barangay 38.

``Police operatives arrested him while he was soliciting bet money for illegal numbers game, jai-alai.

``Recovered from Serimogan were a ballpen and P185 cash.

``...Meanwhile, the police arrested six persons while playing "tong-its" in Liroville Subd., Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod City.

``...Recovered from their possession were two decks of playing cards and P230 bet money.

``...At the Circumferential Road, Brgy. Alijis, the DEU operatives arrested eight persons while also playing "tong-its."

``...Recovered from their possession were four decks of playing cards and P115 bet money..."
