£8m Casino Gets Go-Ahead22 February 2005SCOTLAND -- As reported by the Evening Times: "A London-based firm has taken the lead in the 'Glas-Vegas' race to build Scotland's largest casino. "Proposals for an £8million development at Springfield Quay, on the south bank of the Clyde in Glasgow, today cleared the final planning hurdle. London Clubs International, which operates casinos worldwide, says the venture will create 200 jobs.
