£40 Million U.K. Lottery Jackpots Still Unclaimed12 January 2001UNITED KINGDOM –Jan. 12, 2001 – As reported by Ananova: "More than £40 million of National Lottery prizes remain unclaimed including two massive jackpots. "The holder of a ticket, worth £3million, has less than two months to claim the cash otherwise the money will go to the good causes fund. "Another unclaimed ticket worth £1.5million was bought for the draw on December 6 last year. "…After that the 180-day deadline to make a claim is passed and the money will be paid into the good causes fund along with the interest accrued.
