29 October 2007

SACRAMENTO, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Dorothy Mosqueda, a health aid worker and a bus driver from Tulare, became The Big Spin show's fourth millionaire of 2007 after outplaying nine other contestants in a game of Aces High sending her straight to the big wheel, taking home $1,000,000! "I told my husband I would be on the show one day. He has never watched it, but he will now," explained Mosqueda. Mr. Mosqueda agreed and was overwhelmed with emotion. "We are raising our six grandchildren and we could really use this money," said Mr. Mosqueda. Retirement is in the near future for Mosqueda, who recently received a well deserved award for 25 years of service as a school bus driver. After retirement Mosqueda would like to travel to Mexico to visit a priest that has helped her in the past and donate to his church.

This week on The Big Spin show, four contestants won a total of $1,155,000. The show aired statewide Saturday, October 27, 2007. This week contestants won a grand total of $1,177,500!

Two contestants had a great experience playing Fantasy 5 Dream Machine. First up was Tressa Robinson, a retiree from Victorville, who walked away with $65,000! Next to play Fantasy 5 Dream Machine was Gerald "Jerry" Reichel from La Jolla. Reichel won $40,000 and plans to invest it.

Charles Mora of Chino uncovered "Spin-Spin-Spin" on his Scratchers® ticket sending him to The Big Spin wheel. Mora won a $50,000 cash prize and is going to put a down payment on a home!
