I don't need; I don't like; I don't want

6 May 2010

Is today the age of the surrogate? You can't do it or you don't want to do it, therefore you get someone else to do it for you?

Parents send their beloved offspring to often sleazy day care centers so these parents can work. Those kids are brought up by often uninterested low-paid workers who are bringing up a whole bunch of other kids at the day care center, many of which kids could be the human equivalent of poison ivy.

Women who can't get pregnant have other women get pregnant for them and also carry the baby for them and when that baby is born, several months later, off the kid goes to day care. Are we becoming a society of "do this for me," "do that for me," because "I can't or won't do it myself"?

Isn't welfare often the equivalent of some able-bodied person really saying, "Work for me"?

Here's an e-mail that got me thinking about this:

Dear Frank Scoboletti and Domnator:

So you guys are the best of all the dice controllers in the world and you have proven this all the time in the casinos and even on television. I see that Frank hit on a 89 and a lot of over 50 rolls and that Dom has had many rolls over 50 too and 60 and even one over the 70 mark. You don't have to convince me. I am sold.

Here's the deal I am offering. I want to give you money to play for me in the casinos. I will stake you and we can share fifty-fifty in the wins. I get 50 percent and you two get the other 50 percent. You have no risk, only you get rewarded for being so great. Our bankroll will be $100,000 and you can decide how you want to bet it. I will just be at the table watching and betting too.

This is easy and I am sure you two guys would be stupid to turn this down. It is free money isn't it?

Sincerely,
Mr. Toidi

So I sent Mr. Toidi this response, which is in theme the response I always send or say.

Dear Mr. Toidi:

I know I speak for my partner Dominator in this response to you, which is a simple response — the answer is NO. We don't need your money; we don't want your money; and we don't like these propositions, which we get all the time. Our bankrolls are sufficient for our needs and we have no interest in playing or betting for anyone but ourselves.

Instead of looking to us to beat the casinos for you, why don't you learn the proper approaches in terms of advantage play, proper betting and proper bankroll sizing and beat the casinos yourself? I think that is a lot more fun too. Why have someone else go into the tunnel of love for you? Why not enjoy the ride yourself?

Once again the answer is no.

All the best in and out of the casinos!

Frank Scoblete

There are many wealthy casino gamblers out there who have lost small and large fortunes to the casinos because they play games that they can't beat and, more than likely, play these games in the worst possible manner, often making stupid bets such as the crazy crapper one-roll proposition bets and the hardways. And they see advantage players and look to surrogate them in said gambler's efforts to get some of his or her money back.

The casinos love these stupid losing players. Stupid players fuel the engines of the casinos. Those stupid players won't win in the long run even if they get the temporary help of a true advantage player. If they don't learn to be advantage players themselves, they will ultimately go back to being losers.

Now these losing players will often contact me and try to get me to play for them. The answer is always a resounding no. My whole casino gambling ethic is to help make other players good players — not to become surrogates for them. In matters of love I certainly wouldn't want a surrogate with my beloved. That isn't much fun to my way of thinking.

So too with casino gambling, craps in particular. If we shot for you, what happens when our relationship is over? You go back to being a ploppy, a rich ploppy perhaps, but nevertheless a ploppy.

If you want to have the best chance to beat the casinos then you have to learn the methods and techniques yourself.

"To thine own self be true!" was never a truer statement than when said to a casino gambler looking for a surrogate.
