Top 10 new online slot games

9 September 2019

Everyone loves when there is a new game to play. Luckily, providers continue to produce new slots left and right. Here we take a look at the top 10 new slot games that have been introduced since our last edition in June.

10. Hugo’s Adventure
The latest entry into the slot market from Play’n GO is Hugo’s Adventure, which was announced last week.

This is the fourth game based on the Danish television character Hugo the Troll. It joins Hugo, Hugo 2 and Hugo Goal in the Hugo Series of games by the provider.

The game includes a bonus feature where players are given a life and must dodge obstacles to avoid losing the life.

“Hugo is a beloved character, and whenever we create a Hugo game, we make sure we do it justice by making the best game possible and bringing something different from its predecessors,” said Johan Törnqvist, CEO of Play’n GO.

9. Golden Stripe
OneTouch has added Golden Stripe to its growing portfolio.

The game has a 1x3 stepper slot-style with match symbols. Players have the chance to upgrade through seven paytables by matching special symbols on the solitary payline.

Ollie Castleman, head of marketing at OneTouch, said, “Golden Stripe is a throwback to a classic era, offering simple-to-play mechanics while still offering the kind of quality you would expect from OneTouch.”

8. Caribbean Anne
Caribbean Anne, the new slot from Kalamba Games, is a 5x4, 40-payline slot with four-level progressive bonus jackpots.

The pirate-themed game includes free-spin bonuses and the Locking Multiplier Wilds feature. This feature will have the wild multipliers appear and lock in place and have every 10th spin become a wild spin.

The maximum win in this game is 5,000x the original bet.

Alex Cohen, COO and co-founder of Kalamba Games, said, “Caribbean Anne’s customizable volatility appeals to a range of player types, from old salty seadogs to casual sailors, leveraging new animation technologies to create a highly immersive gameplay.”

7. Colossal Gems
Habanero has launched Colossal Gems, its 100th slot release.

Any win awards a free respin and a 2x2 grouped block of random gems appearing. Also, subsequent wins will offer 3x3 and then 4x4 blocks to lucky players experiencing a run of good fortune.

When wins occur with the 4x4 block appearing, players are rewarded with six free games in which blocked symbols of 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4 will appear randomly on each spin.

Toni Karapetrov, Head of Corporate Communications at Habanero, said, “To reach 100 slots is a huge milestone for us and we have celebrated by creating what is our most visually impressive title to date. Colossal Gems features bold graphics and gives players the chance to climb the table to earn free spins and big wins and we can’t wait to see the response to this exciting and immersive offering.”

6. Triple Double Da Vinci Diamonds
High 5 Games has given players the latest addition to the Da Vinci Diamonds series, Triple Double Da Vinci Diamonds.

The 5x3, 40-payline slot includes tumbling reels that reveal winning gems, and split and triple symbols that increase the possibility of more symbols and bigger wins.

This game also includes the Spin-crease feature, which unlocks more valuable symbols as the amount wagered increases.

Anthony Singer, CEO and Founder of High 5 Games, said, “Our series of games inspired by the artwork of Leonardo Da Vinci has proven to be a major hit with operators, and the inclusion of the Spin-crease feature is set to add another layer of excitement to the gameplay.”

5. The Great Chicken Escape
The Great Chicken Escape, the 3x5 slot from Pragmatic Play, has seven separate bonus features.

With in-play features such as Guard Dog wilds, Chicken Run wilds and care package modifiers, and huge bonus rounds Secret Tunnel, Poultry in Motion, Get Clucky and To the Other Side, players can come up with the perfect plan to escape the coop.

Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, said, “We are delighted to release our latest thrilling slot, The Great Chicken Escape. With a plethora of features and an incredibly fun theme, we look forward to seeing The Great Chicken Escape being a success for us.”

4. Viking Glory
Pariplay’s Viking Glory includes the new Power Pay feature, free spins features and a scatter jackpot with five progressive jackpots.

While spinning the reels, players are rewarded with one of four options — Power Pay Credits, Power Pay Wild Reel, Power Pay Multiplier and Power Pay Respins — each having its own bounty boosting features.

This game offers translations for over 20 languages and invites players to take part in the free spins features to go after big wins.

3. Imperial Riches
Imperial Riches, a five-reel, three-row video slot from NetEnt, has a main game and Free Falls feature. In the Free Falls mode, the symbols drop into position instead of spinning.

Also in the Free Falls mode, a winning bet line will trigger an avalanche, where all symbols in winning combinations light up and disappear to continue until there are no more wins remaining.

Imperial Riches includes three progressive jackpots and two-fixed value jackpots.

“This game is packed with features. We are continuing our Jackpot successes this year with Imperial Riches but with our Avalanche mechanic. The three-stage, nested bonuses give players a chance to experience the Free Falls game, collecting jewels from wins for entry into another coin win feature, and then a Jackpot bonus game,” said Bryan Upton, NetEnt’s Director of Games.

2. Yokozuna Clash
Slot players can enjoy heading to the dohyo and competing as sumo wrestlers fight to win the title in Yggdrasil’s Yokozuna Clash.

Set in Tokyo, the slot begins with two fighters ready to earn the highest rank in sumo wrestling, Yokozuna.

One fighter brings a Random Wilds feature while the other offers Random Multipliers, a combination that can offer players a set of knockout wins.

Landing two scatter symbols will trigger the free spins mode, where a fighter is chosen to battle one of two tournament Free Spin sumo wrestlers with a power bar showing the progress of the fight.

Natalya Ovchinnikova, Product Owner Slots at Yggdrasil, said, “Yokuzuna Clash has unique game mechanics that bring together the action-packed fighting element common in video games with our innovative slots features in a highly intuitive way.”

1. Break da Bank Again Respin
Microgaming has come out with the third installment to the Break da Bank series, Break da Bank Again Respin.

The five-reel, nine-payline slot gives players opportunities to receive free spins.

In the base game, unlocking three or more safe scatter symbols triggers 15, 20 or 25 free spins, and provides the opportunity for more frequent triggers and potential wins of up to 4,000x the initial bet.

The Break da Bank Again wild symbol is a 5x multiplier in the base game and a 25x multiplier during free spins.

Landing one or two safes during the free spins round awards an additional one and two spins respectively.
