In February, a U.S. District Court blocked New Jersey's efforts to offer sports betting. The state is appealing the ruling. But in the meantime, it has decided to allow fantasy sports wagering at its Atlantic City casinos. Casinos can begin offering fantasy sports products on April 22. Casinos can charge an entry fee and pay winnings at the casino cage, but the activity is not considered gambling.  read more

Caesars preparing to open its third casino in Ohio

The 57,000-square-foot casino is part of the Thistledown Racetrack, which is about 10 miles southeast of Cleveland. The casino will house 1,150 slot machine-like video lottery terminals, but there will be no table games.  read more
