'World's largest bingo show' opens in Biloxi

BILOXI, Mississippi -- A bingo convention has opened in Biloxi that includes more than 100 exhibits, AL.com reported.

Calling itself the "world's largest bingo show", The BingoWorld Conference and Expo is ironically located only 40 miles from Alabama, where bingo clubs legality is currently being challenged, the report said.

Last week Bally Gaming declared in a press release that Alabama gaming was "unlikely to continue in its present form", AL.com reported.

The South is traditionally a strong market for bingo, the report mentioned.
