Wonderland closes down

REVERE, Massachusetts -- After 75 years Wonderland Greyhound Park has closed, The Boston Globe reported.

The track closure means the loss of a hundred jobs, many of whom had worked decades at the track, The Boston Globe said.

A voter-imposed ban on dog racing and the lack of progress on expanded gambling legislation sunk the greyhound park, the report noted.
