Wisconsin Wants Bigger Slice of Casino Pie

MADISON, Wisconsin – As reported by the Associated Press: "The state wants a bigger share of profits if the Menominee Indian tribe is successful in building a casino at Kenosha.

"The state wants more than the seven to seven and a-half percent of net gaming revenue included in its current compact with the tribe.

"…Assembly Speaker John Gard says the state should ask for 25 percent of revenue because Menominee have brought the Mohegan tribe of Connecticut into the deal…"
