Gaming NewsWashington Tribal Casino Opens Hotel29 June 2005ROCHESTER, Washington –- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Chehalis Tribes will open their new Eagles Landing Hotel next to the Lucky Eagle Casino here this weekend, tribal officials announced this week. The 69 room and suite hotel will help the tribes attract visitors from across the Pacific Northwest, and will make the 65,000 square foot casino into a true destination. "The new Eagles Landing Hotel takes our tribal business ventures to a new level," said Chehalis Tribal Chairman David Burnett. "We hope to attract tourists and business travelers from a much wider geographic area." The new hotel will be linked to the casino by a covered walkway, and will feature a heated indoor pool, sauna, exercise facility and meeting rooms for business. Each room will offer such amenities as cable television, high speed internet connection, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer and much more. Luxury suites feature private hot tubs and in-room fireplaces. "The hotel will cater to a wide range of customers and needs," Burnett added. "Casino and concert guests will be able to stay with us overnight, and business organizations will have a new venue for retreats, conferences, banquets and award ceremonies." To celebrate the opening, guests will be offered a special introductory room rate of just $79 through August 31st. Members of Lucky Eagle Casino's Platinum Player's Club will receive single room rates of just $75 all year long. Membership is free. A gala Grand Opening celebration will be held at a later date in July. Eagles Landing Hotel is located next to Lucky Eagle Casino, just off Highway 12 in Rochester, Washington. The facility features 69 guest rooms on four floors. |
