Vancouver casino approved to relocate

VANCOUVER, BC -- The City of Vancouver voted yesterday to approve Edgewater Casino's relocation to BC Place, CTV reported.

Plans to expand the casino were voted down last April following vehement public opposition, the report said.

However critics are not happy with the relocation, raising concerns the size of the site will lead easily to future expansion, CTV reported.
