UEFA considers in-game betting ban

SWITZERLAND -- Concerned with corruption and manipulation in football matches, FIFA and UEFA are considering a ban on "in-game betting", Reuters reported.

FIFA and UEFA believe live bets are risky because of possible match interference and fixing, Reuters said.

FIFA intends to enter in discussions on live bets with betting operators, Reuters made note.
