Two Men Arrested For Counterfeit Casino Tickets

SPOKANE, Washington – As reported by the Associated Press: "Two Spokane men are accused of using computers to make counterfeit tickets to cheat an Indian casino.

"Forty one-year-old Renee S. Gerhard and 19-year-old Wade A. Hendrickson were charged today with first-degree theft and first-degree cheating.

"… Police allege computer-made bar-coded tickets were used to fraudulently obtain $100,000 over the past month from electronic gaming devices at the Northern Quest Casino at Airway Heights near Spokane.

"The casino is operated by the Kalispel Indian Tribe, which uses bar-coded tickets instead of money to play the slot-style gaming devices…"
