Turning Stone updates look

VERONA, New York -- As reported by the Oneida Dispatch: "From a 14-foot tall glass sculpture and new flower shop to new carpeting, guests will see updated interior touches at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino.

"Artist Dale Chihuly's interpretation of the Tree of Life is on display in the rotunda leading to the event center, parking garage and meeting rooms.

"The glass sculpture weighs 5,725 pounds and took three people almost five days to set up and assemble.

"...A new flower shop has been added in the Opals corridor.

"...Padding has been added under 184,000 square feet of new carpeting in conference rooms, hallways, on the gaming floor and in the bingo hall.

"Guests may also notice new ceiling treatments, wall fixtures and use of crown moldings, door trims and wood baseboards..."
