Turning Stone Resort lifts BYOB ban

VERONA, New York -- As reported by the Oneida Daily Dispatch: "Visitors to Turning Stone Resort and Casino can again bring their own alcohol to the facility.

"In July, a banner was posted on the resort's website announcing that, 'While our discussions with the state are underway, we must request that our guests not bring alcoholic beverages into Turning Stone.'

"...Signs posted around the casino prohibiting BYO alcohol were taken down this week, but the Nation says it doesn't have a policy on BYO.

"...But, according to the New York State Liquor Authority, allowing BYO is illegal..."
