Gaming NewsTrump Plaza presents the Aluminum Show15 May 2008ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Trump Plaza will play host to a unique, new performance this summer, in The Theatre from July 1 through August 31 when The Aluminum Show slinks into the Theatre for nightly shows. Show times are 8:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday There is also a 3:00 pm matinee on Saturday. (Theatre is dark on Mondays.) In a show combining movement, dance and theatre, The Aluminum Show is one of the most innovative performances to come to the United States. Incorporating the use of special effects, creative mechanisms and acrobatic dance, The Aluminum Show fuses together industrial elements and human art to create a luminous reflection of the world. The concept for Aluminum had been churning in creator, Ilan Azriel's mind for a long time. With first-hand experimentation he mastered the avant-garde uses of various materials. Throughout the process he was aided and assisted by designer Yuval Kedem, one of the leading experts in Israel for designing accessories and special effects. Ilan Azriel, a dancer and a creator, was born in 1968 in Dimona, Israel. He danced for years in Inbal Dance-Theater in Tel Aviv and later on in the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company ( KCDC). In 1997, he established the Dollbeat Group as an independent creator. Since then he has staged performances that combine dance, unique choreography and puppetry to operate life-size puppets, masks and other objects. Aluminum debuted at The Israel Festival, Jerusalem 2003 to wide acclaim. Since then the show has performed in Portugal, Argentina, France and other European countries. Audiences will be intrigued by the hypnotic music of Avi Belleli and Rafa Sofer. Special effects and original costumes will appeal to all ages. The costumes and props used in the performances are manufactured with aluminum papers, tubes and pipes that have been collected from factories which are disposing of leftover materials. These materials are used over and over again providing a "green" aspect to the show. Tickets for The Aluminum show are priced at $35 and will go on sale Saturday, May 25.
