Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino sold for $20 million

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino has been sold to a California company, the Press of Atlantic City reported.

The Meruelo Group purchased Trump for $20 million which considering it cost $210 million to build in 1984 is quite a bargain, the report said.

Meruelo intends to revamp and rename the property, according to the Press of Atlantic City report.
