Tropicana Atlantic City shares details on new restaurants11 January 2017
(PRESS RELEASE) -- Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort is excited to share new details about three Jose Garces restaurants opening on 3 March 2017. These restaurants are part of Tropicana's continuing transformation into a resort destination with dining, shopping, gaming, entertainment, nightlife and much more.
Olon Restaurante is a fine dining seafood restaurant that located in the former oceanfront space occupied by Fin restaurant. Fresh seafood will be served in distinctive, modern presentations. Olon is the name of a city in Ecuador and represents Garces' Ecuadorian roots. Olon Restaurante will be open seven days a week with a Cevicheria (raw seafood bar) for lunch 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and dinner 5 – 11 p.m., midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Two private dining areas will be available. Reservations can be made on Open Table or by calling 800-345-8767 beginning in February. Olon will also participate in Atlantic City Restaurant Week from 5-10 March for lunch only.
Okatshe is a Japanese sake and noodle bar located next to Olon Restaurante in the former restaurant called Seaside Café. Okatshe is a take on the Japanese word for sweets. The décor will resemble a Japanese streetscape and the menu will feature sushi, sake and noodle bar food stalls with a unique Japanese candy store at the entrance. Reservations are not required -- guests can just walk in seven days a week from 4 p.m. – 2 a.m.
La Cerveceria will be the interactive, double-sided bar in the center that connects the two restaurants. The menu will feature seafood, sushi and other items along with 24 types of draft beer. Live, fun, upbeat, beachy entertainment will be offered from 9 p.m. – midnight on Fridays, Saturdays and holiday weekends. The bar will be open from 11:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily.
