Trace Adkins to perform at IP Casino

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Grammy Award-nominated country music icon Trace Adkins brings his “How Did We Get Here” tour to IP Casino Resort and Spa’s Studio A on Friday, 5 April.

Adkins rose to fame with his trademark baritone voice in the mid-1990s with the hits “Every Light in the House,” “I Left Something Turned on at Home” and “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing.” He found additional success on the country charts in the early 2000s with the hits “I’m Tryin” and “Chrome.”

In 2005, Adkins released the song “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” peaking at No. 2 on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart and reaching the Top 40 on both the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and Pop 100 charts. Adkins released “Jesus and Jones” in 2016, which was his first single with BBR Music Group’s Wheelhouse Records.

Aside from his musical career, Adkins is an actor, author and TV personality. As an actor, Adkins has played roles in the movies “Lincoln Lawyer,” “Deepwater Horizon” and “Mom’s Night Out.” Adkins is the author of his autobiography “A Personal Stand: Observations and Opinions from a Freethinking Roughneck.” Additionally, he is a spokesman for the Wounded Warrior Project and United Service Organizations (USO), and has performed for the military in 12 USO tours. He also serves as a spokesman for the American Red Cross, for whom he raised more than $1.5 million dollars as a winner of NBC’s “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.”

Showtime is 8 p.m. Doors open one hour before the show. Tickets start at $54 plus tax and convenience fees. Tickets are available online. Tickets can also be purchased at the IP Box Office. Guests may call Ticketmaster at (800) 653-8000. Advanced purchase tickets must be picked up at the Box Office on the day of the show starting at 1 p.m. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a legally responsible adult over 30 at all times. No refunds or exchanges will be permitted.
