Thanksgiving poker tournaments at Dover Downs

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Thanksgiving holiday weekend will feature three no-limit Texas Hold’em tournaments, including one with a $45,000-guaranteed prize pool, at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room’s championship tournament weekend from 23-25 November.

The $45,000-guaranteed tournament is scheduled for Saturday, 24 November at 11:15 a.m. Three satellites will be held for the 24 November tournament on Monday, 19 November, Tuesday, 20 November and Wednesday, 21 November. All satellites start at 7:15 p.m.

A $20,000-guaranteed tournament is scheduled for Friday, 23 November at 11:15 a.m. One satellite will be held for the 23 November tournament on Thanksgiving night, 22 November at 7:15 p.m.

The weekend tournaments conclude with a $5,000-guaranteed event on Sunday, 25 November at 11:15 a.m.

Participants receive 12 Capital Club points and $3 in comp for registering in each tournament from 23-25 November. Players who register one hour before the tournament begins receive 1,000 bonus chips and 500 more bonus chips if they are dealt in the first hand of the event.
