Teller Accused of Past-Posting Bets no Longer Works at Rockingham

NEW HAMPSHIRE -- As reported by the Thoroughbred Times: ``A Rockingham Park mutuel clerk accused of placing bets on a race at Belmont Park after it had been run no longer works at the New Hampshire track.

``Rockingham plans to provide the New Hampshire Racing Commission with a report of an investigation of the incident prior to a commission meeting on Sunday.

``…Any criminal action against the unidentified teller would come from the state attorney general's office, Commission Director Paul Kelley said.

``…An electronic totalizator malfunction on September 20 would have allowed the teller to place the bets after Belmont's tenth race had been run…"
