Gaming NewsTeam PKR Pro debuts on German TV16 February 2011LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Team PKR Pro Vladimir 'Beyne' Geshkenbein, famous for his Russian aggression and electrifying play headed to Germany for his debut appearance on Germany's biggest poker show on TV, The German High Roller. Set in the 5 star hotel Alpine Palace in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria, Beyne was given the superstar treatment of fast cars, waterbeds and Jacuzzi's which set him up for a poker performance which promises to be 'edge of your seat' entertainment. Beyne went up against 13 of Germany's top cash game players including Markus Lehmann and Johannes Strassmann. After a particularly good run in the first day with a profit of nearly €45,000, Beyne busted out to Hermann Pacha. Beyne commented "I was honoured to be invited to the show. Pacha was the biggest fish in the game, but I somehow managed to lose nearly all my winnings from his first day to him! I just couldn't put him on any hands, and was calling too many bets. All in all, I'm happy with how I played and I got a lot of TV time because I played around 50% of my hands." Produced by Sport1, the first episode airs on 17th February at 19.00 CET and runs till 10th March 2011.
