Sun International enters Chilean market

SOUTH AFRICA – As reported by Bloomberg: "Sun International Ltd., South Africa's biggest lodging company, agreed to purchase a 40 percent stake in San Francisco Investment SA, the holder of a 15-year Chilean casino license.

"The Johannesburg-based company did not disclose the price of its holding in San Francisco Investment SA in a statement released today.

"…The property is expected to have 1,500 slot machines, 80 tables and 300 bingo positions as well as shops and hotel, conference and sports facilities, the company said…"
