Gaming NewsStratosphere Hosts Fireworks, Party9 June 2006LAS VEGAS, Nevada – (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Stratosphere Casino Hotel and Tower will present its annual citywide fireworks display and "Sparkle and Splash Pool Party" on Sunday, July 2, announced American Casino & Entertainment Properties officials. For the fifth year in a row, the world-famous Fireworks by Grucci, Inc. will produce a display that will be launched from the Stratosphere's north parking garage and visible anywhere in Las Vegas. The display will start at 9 p.m. and will be 10 minutes in duration. "The Fourth of July pool party has become an annual tradition for us. We provide a great value with food, drinks and a party atmosphere on our expansive pool deck along with the most dramatic backdrop for a fireworks show in Las Vegas," said Bobby Ray Harris, senior vice president and general manager for the Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower. The Independence Pool Party will be located on the Stratosphere's pool and recreation deck on the eighth floor of the Premier room tower. The party will last from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. The price of admission is $49.99 per person for those 21 years of age and older and $25 for children ages 12 to 20 years of age. Admission includes unlimited food and drinks. The picnic-style buffet will include hamburgers, chicken wings, hot dogs, baked beans, corn on the cob, assorted fruit and ice cream. Drinks will include water, soda and draft beer. A DJ will provide continuous entertainment. Guests will be welcome to swim in the Stratosphere's expansive pool and spa during the party. The pool deck will also allow guests to have the best view of the fireworks display. The "Sparkle and Splash Pool Party" is open to the public. Guests must be 12 years of age or older to attend. In addition to the pool party, the Stratosphere Tower offers several options for viewing the fireworks. The Top of the World Restaurant and Romance at Top of the World will be open as usual, giving guests unparalleled views of the display. The Tower's indoor and outdoor observation decks will also provide excellent views of the display. |
