Steelers' casino gig against NFL rules

PENNSYLVANIA -- A planned opening at The Meadows Racetrack and Casino this evening may not feature NFL Steelers linebacker and quarterback players as planned, Pittsburgh Live reported.

The players presence at such an event may breach NFL rules around players promoting gambling, the report explained.

Both players James Farrior and Charlie Batch said they had no intention of attending the event, despite their names being mentioned in the advert, Pittsburgh Live reported.
