Stanley Leisure Invests in Romanian Business

UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by the UK Daily Post: "Liverpool-based gaming group Stanley Leisure has formed a joint venture to develop a betting business in Romania.

"Stanley Fairbet, part of the group, will invest more than £650,000 (US$1.1 million) in the venture with another company, Invicta, putting up a similar amount.

"Finance director Michael Riddy told the Daily Post last night the venture would see about 50 sports betting shops being set up in the country in 2004…"
