Spanish lotto winner tosses tickets

SPAIN -- A Spanish man almost lost a $12 million dollar prize when he accidentally threw out the tickets, according to Agence France Presse.

Ignacio Gonzalez numbers were drawn in a charity lottery, but he couldn't locate the tickets, the report said.

Gonazalez, part of syndicate of 14 friends, eventually retrieved the lost ticket from a local garbage can, after a frantic rummage, Agence France Presse reported.
