South Point Hotel releases updated entertainment lineup

(PRESS RELEASE) -- South Point Hotel Casino and Spa has unveiled its lineup for the rest of November, leading into the New Year.

Daryle Singeltary
3 November, 10:30 p.m. Doors at 10 p.m.
Free to the public
South Point Showroom invites guests to enjoy PBR with country star Daryle Singeltary. Guests will be treated to a special evening of country music from "I Let Her Lie," "Too Much Fun," "I Never Go Around Mirrors" and much more.

National finals rodeo entertainment
NFR Kick Off Party with Sierra Black
6 December, 10:30 p.m. Doors at 10 p.m.
Free to the public
The South Point Showroom kicks off NFR with country music star Sierra Black. The Las Vegas native has shared the stage with legends such as Keith Urban and Garth Brooks and will keep the crowd dancing all night.

Aaron Watson
7-11 December, 12 a.m.
Free to the public
Must be 21 years or older to attend.
Independent Country star, Aaron Watson will perform hits such as "Outta Style," "That Look" and "Best For Last" at the South Point Showroom. Watson is known for his country melodies and is well respected in the country music world. In addition, Watson has worked alongside the likes of Willie Nelson, Ray Benson and many more.

Vanessa LeGrand
7-16 December, 9 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Free to the public
Must be 21 years or older to attend.
Vanessa LeGrand showcases her many different talents and song styles for audiences during National Finals Rodeo in the Grandview Lounge from 9 to 11 p.m. Music fans of all types will enjoy LeGrand's performance as she switches from lounge-style jazz to classic country and rock 'n' roll sounds.

Sierra Black
12 December, 12 a.m.

Must be 21 years or older to attend.
Las Vegas born and raised, country singer Sierra Black will be entertaining guests all night long in South Point's Showroom. Black is a singer and songwriter with national recognition and has shared the stage with stars such as Keith Urban and Garth Brooks.

Cody Johnson

Must be 21 years or older to attend.
Bull rider turned country music star, Cody Johnson is sure to entertain guests all night with his classic country voice and impressive guitar playing at the South Point Showroom. Making a name for himself on Texas country stages has gained him national recognition as he topped Billboard Country Album's Charts in 2014.

New Year's Eve entertainment
Generations of Rock and Roll with Michael Cavanaugh
10:40 p.m.; Doors at 8 p.m. Dinner at 9 p.m.
Tickets: $150
Guests must be 21 years or older.
Michael Cavanaugh returns to South Point Hotel's Grand Ballroom after his sold out celebrated New Year's Eve show in 2015. Known for being handpicked by Billy Joel himself, Cavanaugh has had a successful career on and off Broadway. Throughout the evening, Cavanaugh will help guests ring in the new year as he performs the greatest rock 'n' roll hits from every generation. Tickets for Michael Cavanaugh's performance include a four course dinner, open bar, party favors, a champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight. To kick off the evening, the doo wop sounds of The Alley Cats will get the party started from 8 to 10:40 p.m.

New Year's at noon: The Alley Cats
1 p.m. Doors at 12 p.m.
Tickets: $19
The Alley Cats return to the South Point Showroom for New Year's at noon with the group's signature doo wop hits. Tickets include party favors, balloon drop and a champagne toast. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the '50s iconic music and signature songs such as "Don't Be Cruel," "Come Go with Me" and "Goodnight Sweetheart."

Wes Winters and Vanessa LeGrand
Wes Winters performs from 5 to 8 p.m.
Vanessa LeGrand performs from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Free and open to the public.
Guests must be 21 years or older.
Wes Winters and Vanessa LeGrand will give guests an evening they will never forget as they look back at 2017 and celebrate the beginning of the year to come. Guests will dance the night away in the Grandview Lounge to all the hits from the past year, along with Winters' and LeGrand's jazzy lounge favorites.

Rockin' M Town with Gregg Austin

South Point Showroom will toast to 2018 with Gregg Austin and his Rockin' M Town beats. Tickets include two drinks, party favors, a balloon drop and a champagne toast at midnight. Guests will enjoy the everlasting sounds that forever altered the world of music as they look forward to what's to come in the new year. Guests can expect to hear Austin's expert renditions of "I'll Be Around," "Just My Imagination," "My Girl" and more.

'80s Night with The SPAZMATICS
10:15 p.m. Doors at 9:30 p.m.
Tickets: $75
Guests must be 21 years or older.
The SPAZMATICS will dazzle guests with a fantastic New Year's Eve celebration in South Point Hotel's Exhibit Hall with the best '80s dance in Las Vegas. Tickets include an open bar, party favors, hors d'oeuvres, a balloon drop and a champagne toast at midnight. Guests will enjoy The SPAZMATICS' world class musicianship, tight choreography and contagious energy as they dance the night away to the top hits from the '80s.

Frankie Moreno

Named "Las Vegas Headliner of the Year" three times, South Point Showroom welcomes Frankie Moreno to the stage. At just the age of 10 years old, Moreno made his debut on CBS Star Search. Singer, showman, songwriter and musician, Moreno will entertain the audience with his highly contagious music and playful stage antics. All proceeds from Thursday, 12 October will go to the Las Vegas Victims GoFundMe campaign in an effort to aid victims and their families of the Las Vegas shooting.

Stayin' Alive: The World's No. 1 Tribute to the Bee Gees
10-12 November, 7:30 p.m. Doors at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are available and start at $30.
The World's No. 1 tribute to the Bee Gees, Stayin' Alive, returns to the South Point Showroom for a night of music and dancing. Stayin' Alive captures the excitement of the Bee Gees with the band's top hits, including "Night Fever," "How Deep is Your Love," "You Should Be Dancing" and more.

Donny Edwards: The Next Best Thing to the King
17-19 November, 7:30 p.m. Doors at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are available and start at $25.
The South Point Showroom invites guests for a three-night spectacular Elvis tribute with Donny Edwards known as "An Authentic Heart and Soul Tribute to the King." Edwards will treat guests to an evening of uncanny renditions of "Heartbreak Hotel," "Can't Help Falling in Love," "Hound Dog" and more.

Chubby Checker
24-26 November, 7:30 p.m. Doors at 6:30 p.m.

South Point Showroom celebrates an evening of music and dance with Grammy award-winner, singer Chubby Checker. Known for his twisting dance style fans will want to twist and groove all night to hits such as "The Twist," "Limbo Rock," "Pony Time" and more.

Neil Diamond The Tribute Starring Rob Garrett

Named the No. 1 Neil Diamond tribute band, Rob Garrett takes over the South Point Showroom and interacts with the crowd like no other performer. Throughout the evening, Garrett will cover all of Neil Diamond's classic songs, including "Sweet Caroline," "Cherry, Cherry," "Hello" and many more.

Tony Orlando's Great American Christmas Show
21-23 December, 7:30 p.m. Doors at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are available and start at $50.
The South Point Showroom presents Tony Orlando's Great American Christmas Show featuring Christmas classics unlike ever before. Orlando is known for his smooth vocal presence and will get the audience into the holiday spirit with hits such as "White Christmas," "Silent Night," "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and more.

Wes Winters
Friday and Saturday throughout November
Wes Winters takes over the Grandview Lounge and will dazzle audiences with his exceptional piano playing and vocal abilities on Friday and Saturday nights in November, with the exception of Friday, 3 November and Saturday, 4 November, from 6 to 9 p.m. Winters will treat guests to a night of smooth, lounge style jazz, allowing audiences to unwind one moment and sing along the next. This event is free and open to the public.

Dirty at 12:30 with Gabe Lopez
Friday nights throughout November
Gabe Lopez and the South Point present The Dirty at 12:30 inside the South Point Grandview Lounge every Friday night throughout November from 12:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Prior to the show, guests are welcome to enjoy live music from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. in the Grandview Lounge as well. This show is not for guests that are easily offended and cannot handle dirty raw comedy. Special guests who have appeared on the "Dirty" stage include Ralphie May, Joey Diaz, Joe Rogan, Carlos Mencia and many more. This show is free and open to guests 21 or older with a valid form of ID.

Tuesday nights throughout November
The sound of Motown invades the South Point Showroom every Tuesday throughout November from 8 to 11 p.m. Guests will experience an evening hosted by Gregg Austin while enjoying the everlasting sounds that dramatically altered the world of music. General admission tickets are available for $10 at the front door and include one complimentary drink. Reserved seating will also be available for $15 and includes two complimentary drinks with purchase.

Déjà Vu
Wednesday nights throughout November
The South Point Showroom hosts Déjà Vu every Wednesday throughout November from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests will experience an evening of pure excitement as they dance through the decades. All guests must be 21 or older with a valid form of ID and present a South Point Slot Club Card. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. General admission tickets are available for $5 at the front door and includes a complimentary drink. Reserved seating is also available for $10 and includes two complimentary drinks.

Dennis Bono Show
Thursday afternoons throughout November
South Point’s Dennis Bono Show offers guests a wide variety of amusement in the South Point Showroom every Thursday throughout October and November, with the exception of Thursday, 23 November at 2 p.m. Featuring appearances with established celebrities from the world of entertainment, Bono's interaction with his guests creates a one-of-a-kind performance. Doors open at 1 p.m. This show is free and open to the public.

SPAZMATICS
Saturday nights throughout November
The SPAZMATICS will party away to the best of the 1980s in the South Point Showroom every Saturday night throughout October and November. Tickets are available for $5 or guests can purchase a "SPAZMATICS Party Package" for $10 including one ticket, one drink and reserved seating. Doors open at 10 p.m. General admission tickets are available to purchase for $5 as well as VIP tickets. All guests must be 21 or older with a valid form of ID.
