South Dakota to decide on casino smoking ban

SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota -- South Dakota voters will soon vote on a casino smoking ballot, KTIV reported.

The ballot seeks to ban smoking in most casinos, restaurants and bars, the report explained.

Smoking is already banned in the majority of public building, this ballot seeks to extend that ban, KTIV said.

The threat to video lottery revenue and the question of personal freedom has some people opposed to the ban, KTIV report noted.
