South African casino robbed

LIMPOPO, South Africa -- Meropa Casino was robbed on Sunday leaving one gambler wounded, according to a South African Press Association report.

Ten men armed with assault rifles and 9mm pistols charged into the casino taking money from cashiers.

The gambler was shot in the chest as the robbers exited. He is in stable condition and expected to survive.
