South Africa: Gambling addicts apply for ban

SOUTH AFRICA -- 4391 compulsive gamblers have requested casinos ban them, the (South African) Sunday Times reported.

A sizeable number, nearly fifty per cent, were from KwaZulu-Natal, the report said.

The National Gambling Board has also distributed a list of the gamblers to places they have not requested being banned, according to the Sunday Times.
