Slots, casino gain more support in Mass.

MASSACHUSETTS -- Voter support for casinos and slots at racetracks is at an high all time high, The Day reported.

Legislation to expand gambling in Massachusetts recently failed to be agreed on and in a recent telephone poll 37% put the blame on Gov. Deval Patrick, The Day report said.

The telephone poll showed that only 40 percent of voters were opposed to expanded gambling down from 44 percent in 2008, The Day report noted.
