Slay Cancer with Imagine Dragons at Rise Up Gala

7 March 2019

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Tickets are now on-sale for the sixth annual Rise Up Gala, an exclusive, one-night-only experience, created to raise funds for the Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF), the non-profit organization of the Grammy Award-winning band Imagine Dragons dedicated to supporting children battling pediatric cancer. Actor and comedian Joel McHale will once again serve as the host of the glamorous event which will take place at Wynn Las Vegas on Friday, 6 September.

Featuring an exclusive acoustic performance by Imagine Dragons, the Rise Up Gala offers attendees an exhilarating night of entertainment while celebrating the individuals who have made notable contributions to TRF through direct efforts, philanthropic support, or by raising public awareness of the challenges facing pediatric cancer patients. On the heels of a highly successful 2018 event, which raised more than $2 million, the sixth annual Rise Up Gala promises to be an extraordinary evening of inspiration and hope as TRF also honors the children whom the organization’s mission is built around.

“A pediatric cancer diagnosis is physically, emotionally and financially devastating to families,” says TRF executive director Kim Gradisher. “While the Rise Up Gala is an incredible evening, more importantly, the funds raised from the event have enabled TRF to expand its mission. As Rise Up has grown year over year, we have been able to significantly increase the number of families we support and help ease the huge financial hardship cancer treatment places on them. We hope this year’s Gala will enable us to extend our reach further and provide this critical need to even more families.”

Individual tickets and corporate sponsorships are still available for the 2019 event. The evening includes a cocktail hour, dinner, a live and silent auction along with all-star entertainment. All proceeds benefit the Tyler Robinson Foundation, where 85% of every dollar raised goes directly to families in need.
