Gaming NewsSinbad performs at AC Hilton25 March 2008ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- (PRESS RELEASE) -– The Atlantic City Hilton Casino announced it will present a one-night-only performance by comedian Sinbad, Saturday, April 12 at 8 p.m. The Michigan-born Sinbad (born David Adkins) is a highly popular stand-up comedian, actor and author. He is known around the world from his extensive film and television performances. Sinbad stands out because of his unique approach to stand-up comedy. He uses his gift of storytelling as his comedic platform. Rather than tell jokes, he invokes real-life anecdotes, but with impeccable timing and sharp delivery and uproarious responses. It's a unique approach that has garnered him a long life in entertainment - with no signs of slowing down. Sinbad is internationally known for his starring appearances in hit movies like "Jingle All the Way," playing opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger; "Houseguest" co-starring the late Phil Hartman and his co-starring role in "Necessary Roughness." He has starred in the televisions sitcom "A Different World" as well as his own series, "The Sinbad Show." Other notable roles have included a stint as host of the legendary It's Showtime at the Apollo. Entertainment mogul Quincy Jones sought out Sinbad to host the late night talk show, "Vibe."
