Silver Slipper million dollar giveaway

MISSISSIPPI – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Some lucky Silver Slipper Casino player will become one million dollars richer, January 6, 2008, during a drawing for the Slipper's "Who's Going to be a Millionaire" Giveaway. The winner will receive $1,000,000 in five guaranteed annual installments of $200,000 per year, commencing with the first on January 6, 2008.

"This will be the largest cash giveaway in Gulf Coast history," said John N. Ferrucci, COO and General Manager for Silver Slipper Casino. "It's just one of many more great promotions we have planned for our players at the Slipper." Beginning May 1 through December 31, members of Silver Slipper Casino's Players Club can earn entries through slot and table game play, designated promotions, direct mail, print, e-mail and more, as well as receive one free entry, daily, for a chance to win one of ten official grand prize drawing entries, awarded each day at 9:00 p.m. Daily drawing winners who report to the drawing area within 15 minutes of the drawing will receive their official "Who's Going to be a Millionaire" numbered entry certificate and a $100 Silver Slipper Gift Package.

Daily drawing winners who do not claim their official numbered entry certificate within 15 minutes of the daily drawing will then have seven days to report to Silver Slipper Casino's Players Club and claim their official "Who's Going to be a Millionaire Giveaway" numbered entry certificate, good for a chance to win the grand prize, but will forfeit their Silver Slipper Gift Package. The Silver Slipper Gift Package is valued at $100 and includes $50.00 in Silver Dollar Free Slot Play, two free Jubilee Buffets valued at $40.00, and a $10.00 gift certificate to the Slipper's General Store or Bijoux Terner Boutique.

Bonus entries into the final drawing will be offered throughout the duration of the promotion as prizes for weekly or monthly tournaments and/or promotions. The Slipper's monthly Top 100 Players Club Slot and Table Games Players will also receive one bonus entry, each month. The Top 500 Players Club Slot Players, between May 1 and December 31, 2006, will also receive one bonus entry for the grand prize drawing.

The grand prize winner will be drawn from no more than 5,000 official entries on January 6, 2008 at 10:00 p.m. The winner need not be present to win ... although who wouldn't be at the Slipper that night for a chance to win $1,000,000? The winner will have thirty days after the drawing to claim the grand prize at Silver Slipper Casino's Players Club. If the winner has not reported or been located within ninety days of the drawing, another winner will be drawn within thirty days of that deadline.
