Seneca show off new casino

SALAMANCA, New York – As reported by the Olean Times Herald: "Seneca Allegany Casino patrons rang in the new year earlier this week in the new permanent casino.

"Seneca Gaming Corporation spokesman Phil Pantano gave a tour to local media Wednesday, pointing out the new grand casino floor.

"…Combined, the new casino and hotel off exit 21 in Salamanca represent a $160 million investment by the Seneca Nation of Indians.

"The next step is under way in the unfinished 11-story hotel that towers above the new casino. When completed in March, the 212-room hotel and casino will be comparable to operations in Las Vegas, Mr. Pantano said. The hotel will feature 182 deluxe rooms, 14 corner suites and 16 penthouse level suites.

"The second floor of the hotel will feature a spa and three restaurants.

"Mr. Pantano said the hotel will enable patrons to spend more time at the casino as well as visit some of Cattaraugus County's other tourism attractions…"
