Gaming NewsSeneca Allegany Casino celebrates fifth anniversary1 May 2009SALAMANCA, New York -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Ceremonies were held today at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel (SAC&H) to commemorate the facility's 5th anniversary. Cochise Redeye, Chairman of the Seneca Gaming Corporation (SGC) Board of Directors, announced to the Corporation's 4,000+ employees, that two main initiatives will be the focus of the Board's 2009 reform agenda. The employee grievance policy along with a newly instated employee bonus policy will be at the forefront of the Board's agenda. Catherine Walker, SGC's Chief Operating Officer and acting principal executive officer, began the celebration by welcoming all employees, members of the Seneca Nation of Indians (SNI) and officials in attendance. Following Walker's greeting, SNI president Barry E. Snyder, Sr. thanked employees for their service and reiterated the positive impact that the Nation continues to have on the Western NY region. Following Snyder's speech, newly elected Chairman Redeye invited his fellow Board members and the Senior Management staff to join him at the podium. Chairman Redeye expressed his sincerest gratitude to all SGC employees for their continued dedication. "Team Seneca has consistently produced for the Corporation and in return, today, we have pledged a renewed commitment to improve employee culture," said Redeye. |
