13 July 2005

LA GRANGE, Missouri – (PRESS RELEASE) -- A La Belle, Missouri man has become the second millionaire to walk out of Terrible's Mark Twain Casino within one week. James Fifer hit the $1,875,907.08 jackpot on a one-dollar 'Wheel of Fortune' machine. "This is a dream come true," Said Fifer of his good fortune. "I kept saying over and over: I want to hit the spin, I want to hit the spin." He added. The only definite plans James has for his winnings is a trip to Hawaii with his wife. The 'Wheel of Fortune' game that produced the jackpot is part of a wide area progressive slot machine network throughout the state of Missouri. All machines in the network share the same name and contribute to the jackpot amount.

Said Bob Thursby, manager of Terrible's Mark Twain casino. "We pride ourselves on being a fun place to play. I think Brenda and James would both agree!"

Herbst Gaming, Inc. assumed ownership of Terrible's Mark Twain Casino on February 1, 2005. Herbst Gaming now operates eight casinos, five in Nevada, one in Iowa and two in Missouri. Herbst Gaming, Inc. is owned by Ed, Tim and Troy Herbst.
