Rivers Casino Schenectady rents space at Mohawk Harbor

6 November 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady is already having positive economic impact on its Mohawk Harbor neighbors by leasing nearby office space. Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady and The Galesi Group announced today that Rivers will be among the first tenants to move into Mohawk Harbor's Two Harbor Center.

Rivers Casino will be taking approximately 8,500 square feet of space for administrative offices and training space for onboarding new team members.

Two Harbor Center is a three-story, 65,845-square-foot building with space for retail on the ground floor. There is a total of 21,820 square feet of retail space available and 44,025 square feet of office space. The general contractor for the construction of Two Harbor Center is LeChase Construction.

"Our development partners at The Galesi Group have done a terrific job with Mohawk Harbor, and we are looking forward to moving into this new space as we expand our operations," said Rivers Casino & Resort General Manager Mary Cheeks. "Two Harbor Center will serve as a base for some of our administrative functions as well as a custom training center for new and future team members."

"Commercial and office space at Mohawk Harbor is just one piece of what makes this development special. Combine that with first-rate apartments and 100,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space that will be coming online, and this is the region's only true 'Live, Work, Stay and Play' destination," said Galesi Group CEO David Buicko. "We're proud to welcome our partners at Rivers Casino to their new offices in Mohawk Harbor."
