Rhode Island approves casino vote

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island -- Rhode Island's casino proposal has won House approval in the nick of time, according to the Providence Journal.

The vote allows the voters to switch two private casinos to "full-blown" casinos, the report stated.

The debate was split with one side saying the state could lose $295 Million in revenue if it didn't the vote went against the proposal, The Providence Journal said.
